Banja Luka: Two arrested, police seize 27 kg of drugs, Mercedes and mobile phones

(Patria) - In an operational action codenamed "Insider", police officers of the Banja Luka Police Administration arrested individuals with initials J.G. and S.Ž., both from Banja Luka, due to grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs".

Based on the order of the District Court in Banja Luka, and with the prior consent of the acting prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office Banja Luka, searches were carried out today at several locations in the Banja Luka area.

During the action, approximately 27 kilograms of green plant matter resembling the narcotic drug "marijuana", a Mercedes passenger car, mobile phones, and other items related to the commission of the criminal offense were found and seized.

Certain activities within the action are ongoing, and all measures and actions are being carried out under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor's Office and the District Court Banja Luka.

After the criminal investigation is completed, the individuals will be handed over to the acting prosecutor of the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor's Office along with a report on the committed criminal offense.
