Banja Luka: SIPA Arrests Former VRS Member for Crimes in Ključ

Acting on the order of a prosecutor from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, SIPA officers in the Banja Luka area arrested a suspect for crimes against humanity in the Ključ area, Patria reports.

Also, by order of the prosecutor in the same case, one suspect will be questioned in the Ključ area. Due to the interests of the investigation, the Prosecutor's Office will not disclose the identity of the suspects at this time.

The said suspects are under investigation and are charged with, as members of the VRS, in August 1992, in the villages of Kamičak and Krasulje near Ključ, participating in the murder of a total of 6 victims, men of Bosniak nationality, thereby committing the criminal offense of crimes against humanity.

After questioning the suspects, the prosecutor in charge will decide on further activities in accordance with the law, the Prosecutor's Office announced.
