Banja Luka: After 19 Years, Gordana Inđić's Murderer Identified

Members of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska have shed light on a murder committed in 1996, it was said at an extraordinary press conference in Banja Luka, reports the Patria news agency.

T.D. (56) from Velika Plana was arrested in Serbia for the murder of Gordana Inđić in the area of Derventa, said today the head of the Public Security Center Doboj, Dragan Prodanović.

Prodanović noted that the murder was committed in 1996 in the place of Lužani, municipality of Derventa, and that T.D. was arrested in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.

"The person T.D. confessed to the crime of murder and was remanded in custody today. The criminal investigation was carried out by the police in Belgrade, and the criminal proceedings will be conducted by the competent first-instance institution in Serbia," said Prodanović.

Deputy head of the Criminal Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska, Nedeljko Lubura, said that police officers from RS, in cooperation with members of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, have shed light on the said crime.

"This confirms that the Ministry of Interior of RS is working intensively on solving all criminal offenses that occurred in the previous period," said Lubura. Unofficially, it is Dragan Tirnanić, nicknamed Tirke, reported ATV.
