A 45-year-old man, Z. Đ. (born 1970) from the Starčevica neighborhood in Banja Luka, who was suspected of pedophilia, has committed suicide, reports the Patria news agency.
The man cut his veins. Duty prosecutor Željko Blažić confirmed that the man's body has been sent for an autopsy.
In last week's operation by the Criminal Police Directorate, aimed at combating child pornography, among several individuals arrested from the areas of Laktaši and Banja Luka was the deceased man.
His apartment and weekend house had been searched previously due to suspicion of involvement with child pornography, ATV reports.
