Bajraktarević ends hunger strike due to deteriorating health: FTV is deceiving the public and twisting facts

The HR Department of RTV FTV issued a statement on July 14th stating "that their employee Sejo Bajraktarević, given that no legal basis was found, has suspended his hunger strike which he maintained for almost a month at the entrance to the RTV Home building in Sarajevo".

The Trade Union of RTV FBiH employees had previously determined "that the employer did not discriminate against employee Bajraktarević on any grounds, nor was the law violated in this case".

Sejo Bajraktarević contacted the Patria news agency, having undergone medical examinations at a hospital after ending his strike. He denies these claims by FTV.

- I only learned about these claims after my treatment. Someone took advantage of my critical condition and deceived the public. My reason for ending the strike was my severely deteriorating health. I made the final decision based on the proposal of my lawyer Duško Tomić, who said he would defend me only if I ended the strike. Therefore, the official statements from FTV are mere fabrications and twists of facts - says Bajraktarević.
