At least ten people were killed on Monday in two suicide attacks targeting predominantly Shiite neighborhoods, medical and security sources announced, and the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, reports the Patria News Agency.
In an attack in the Amil neighborhood, in the southern part of the capital, a suicide bomber killed at least six people and wounded 16.
Another suicide bomber detonated himself near a taxi stand and a bus station, killing four people and wounding 18. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement, saying its targets were Shiite Muslims, Index writes.
