Babalj: A brutal theft occurred, ballots where Trivić was circled were marked with different pens

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - We believe that numerous irregularities occurred in the election process based on the data we have, stated Darko Babalj at an extraordinary press conference today, speaking about the recount of votes for the president/vice-president of the Republika Srpska entity, which was ordered by the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 10th.

The current SDS representative in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and the holder of the party's list for the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the recently concluded general elections, asked, "is it normal for a ballot to have votes for Jelena Trivić erased with correction fluid and then Milorad Dodik's name written in?"

- Is it normal to have invalid votes, where Jelena Trivić was circled on each ballot with a different pen, while Milorad Dodik received votes with the same pen. During the packaging and counting at polling stations, a brutal theft occurred by placing Jelena's votes on Dodik's and counting them for Dodik.

Is it normal for one person to sign for 150 names and for us to consider it a regular election? Is it normal for deceased persons to vote? Is it normal for the president of the Election Commission of Sokolac to use stamps with a double-headed eagle. You have Doboj, Bijeljina, Banja Luka where there are 528 open polling stations, and irregularities were found at 450 of them. These are not democratic elections, and we will demand a repeat of the elections," said Babalj.

He emphasized that this will be a long and exhausting process, and due to the situation in Republika Srpska, he appealed to the CEC to state whether what he is saying is true.

Votes for the president/vice-president of Republika Srpska were cast at 2,239 polling stations.
