Azinović: Many politicians dare to speak about terrorism, although they know little about it

After the incident in Rajlovac, some politicians stated that it was takfiri terrorism, although I am sure they do not even know what takfiri terrorism actually means, said Vlado Azinović, an expert on terrorism issues, who is one of the lecturers at the conference "The Role of Media in the Fight Against Violent Extremism", which is being held today in Konjic, reports Patria.

He said that journalists, as well as others in BiH, must be very careful when it comes to publicly qualifying certain cases.

- Whether something is terrorism or not, we can only know by the motive, and we often cannot know the motive immediately - Azinović said.

Experts from various fields, together with journalists, are trying today in Konjic to point out the importance of the media in the fight against violent extremism, which is increasingly present in Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes Patria.
