(Patria) - A car driver crashed into a crowd of people gathered at a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg around 7 PM tonight.
The driver has been arrested by the police, local authorities announced.
At least one person has died, and between 60 and 80 people have been injured.
Emergency vehicles rushed to the market near the city hall, according to videos on social media.
