Car hits woman in Buća Potok, she dies from injuries

(Patria) - A traffic accident occurred this morning in the Sarajevo settlement of Buća Potok, in which a female pedestrian of advanced age died.

"At 09:50, the Novi Grad Police Department was informed that a traffic accident occurred in Adema Buće Street in which a female pedestrian of advanced age died. Death was confirmed at 10:23 by an emergency doctor.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident, was tested for alcohol, and no alcohol was detected in his blood.

A prosecutor will supervise the investigation to be conducted by members of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Directorate.

Traffic in this street is currently difficult," the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Directorate announced.
