Car hits two pedestrians in Grbavica, taken to KCUS, driver was a minor

(Patria) - Two pedestrians were injured after being hit by a car in Topal Osman-paše street in the municipality of Novo Sarajevo around 7 PM.

"The pedestrians were transported to the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo", confirmed the Operational Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

A police investigation is underway, and the car ended up on the green area next to the road after the impact.

"Tonight around 7:00 PM in Topal Osman-paše street, in the area of the municipality of Novo Sarajevo, a traffic accident occurred in which two pedestrians were injured. According to currently available information, the accident was caused by the inappropriate speed of the motor vehicle that hit them. The girls were transported to KCUS and do not have life-threatening injuries. One girl has serious bodily injuries, while the extent of the injuries for the other is still being determined. According to available information, the vehicle was driven by a male minor. The investigation is still ongoing. More information will be known later", announced the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
