Bus crashes into a hill near Trebinje, two people killed

(Patria) - Two people were killed and several were injured when a bus crashed into a hill in the village of Dražin Do near Trebinje, the Trebinje Police Administration announced.

The traffic accident occurred around 6:30 AM. 

Police officers from the Trebinje Traffic Safety Police Station are conducting an investigation.

Due to the traffic accident, traffic has been suspended on the section of the Trebinje-Ljubinje main road (in the village of Dražin Do).

The bus was transporting 37 employees of the Banja Luka Elementary School "Georgij Stojkov Rakovski" on a work excursion.

- Thirteen patients with minor or severe injuries were admitted to Trebinje Hospital. Two patients with severe injuries were placed in intensive care. Unfortunately, two passengers out of the 37 who were on the bus died at the scene, confirmed Nedeljko Lambeta, the hospital director.
