AS Holding: Vispak, Solana Tuzla, AS Jelah and AC Food increased exports

(Patria) - AS Holding companies increased their exports last year compared to 2020. Thus, last year, 2021, Solana Tuzla achieved an export increase of 8 percent compared to 2020, Vispak and AS Jelah grew by 5 percent each, and AC Food by 6 percent.

The best results were achieved by the brands Zlatna džezva, Tuzlanska so, Kent confectionery products, Klas jufke, and Tops. The largest growth was achieved in the markets of Germany, the United States of America, Croatia, and Montenegro. AS Holding's popular brands have a good position in the Scandinavian countries, Austria, and Slovenia.

"We continued the export growth trend even during the pandemic. Competition is getting stronger, and it is encouraging that our brands are managing to position themselves in the most demanding world markets. The quality is unquestionable because every detail is taken care of, from the procurement of raw materials to consumption by the end consumer, which is recognized in more than thirty countries on five continents where we export our products," emphasize AS Holding.

The exit of Great Britain from the EU and the lack of timely reaction from the BiH state authorities, which resulted in the non-signing of the Free Trade Agreement, negatively affected exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and thus the business of our companies in this market.

"This situation partially disrupts our plans and jeopardizes positions built over the past twenty years in this market," state AS Holding.

Last year was a time of market consolidation but also of our internal processes. The export strategy 2022-2027 was adopted, which aims for an even stronger entry into foreign markets, including active presence through our own organizations in those markets. Also, in the period ahead, the introduction of new distributors in the Middle East markets is planned, followed by increased engagement in the US market, according to the press release from AS Holding.

With production capacities for food products of 300,000 tons, AS Holding is one of the most significant food producers in this part of Europe. AS Holding unites 17 companies with more than 4,000 employees who produce almost 2,000 products.
