AS Holding opened the first BiH career development festival STARfest with a panel

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today marked the beginning of the largest two-day event in BiH for the promotion of career development and youth employment, named STARfest. A large number of young people and students gathered in the crowded Skenderija Centre to hear firsthand about the labor market, jobs of the future, and to see concrete offers for young people – jobs, internships, education, scholarships, etc. AS Holding, as a representative of one of the largest food groups in BiH, officially opened the first STARfest with the panel "Youth and Trends in the Labor Market".

Emira Duratbegović (Vice President for Human Resources at AS Holding), Armin Hodžić (Director of Mak Zara company), Nina Bijedić Mujanović (Director of Vispak company), and Jasmin Kukuljac (Director of ZiM company) spoke about their career beginnings and, through practical examples, motivated the attendees to be brave and develop their X factors that will help them find a job.

"Today, with our young colleagues, we conducted mini professional orientation in our HR corner through 'future scan' and, through structured interviews, helped them better recognize their professional affinities. Through competition and teamwork, all participants could see for themselves which 'role' in the team suits them best, where they can contribute the most, i.e., what they like and what they are effective at. I believe that interacting with our HR experts will be beneficial and at least somewhat helpful in choosing their future professional direction," stated Emira Duratbegović, Vice President for Human Resources at AS Holding.

AS Holding is also soon launching the project "AS-perspective for Youth in BiH," which aims to encourage young people to develop through structured internship concepts and strong professional mentoring, thereby offering them a promising climate for their future employment and to remain in BiH. At the AS Holding corner, at the first STARfest, visitors also have the opportunity to try some of the products such as Vispak tea, Tops, Mak Zara, and Oaza, as well as take a professional orientation test and have their CV checked by HR experts.
