(Patria) - The BiH Prosecutor's Office, led by Milanko Kajganić, expeditiously processed the report filed against CEC members by SNSD after the CEC issued an order to re-examine, ex officio, the ballots from all polling stations for the level of President/Vice-President of Republika Srpska. Although the CEC submitted a report to the BiH Prosecutor's Office regarding Milorad Dodik's statements in which he brutally insults and endangers CEC member Vanja Bjelica Prutina, the Prosecutor's Office has not been as efficient in that case.
CEC President Suad Arnautović reminded Hayat that attacks on the CEC, as well as on member Bjelica-Prutina, occurred after the 2020 local elections.
"We must not interfere with the work of judicial institutions, but we pointed out the facts that during the local elections there were heinous statements directed at that CEC member. She acted correctly and filed a criminal complaint against the gentleman who made those statements. She was heard in January of that year, now it is October 2022, and there is still no prosecutorial decision. Calling someone a Serbian scumbag, saying they lived in marriage with a husband of another nationality, and nothing. No reaction then, and new attacks followed. What else should we expect. We work under enormous pressure and stress. It is unbelievable that there is no reaction in accordance with the law," said Arnautović.
Arnautović also confirmed that during the day, the BiH Prosecutor's Office requested documentation from the CEC based on the criminal complaint.
