Arnaut: Elections do not depend on the budget and there is no excuse for not holding them

"Mr. Telgetija has been announcing the budget for elections for some time, but the fact is that it has certain procedures. We have found another solution, so really no one would have an excuse anymore to say that there is no budget for elections," said Arnaut.

He pointed out that the law on financing political parties even allows for a so-called reallocation of funds during temporary financing.

"Four million KM, which is needed for elections, is really not much when it comes to the budget framework. This conclusion has been adopted and the Council of Ministers now has seven days to reallocate it. So we can have money for elections before the budget and even if there is no budget. This option allows elections to be held," he said.

"If the elections are not held, there have already been announcements that it will be a very 'hot summer', citizens are truly frustrated by the fact that there is no progress in BiH, and then they don't even get the chance to say what they think about it...", emphasized Arnaut.
