(Patria) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo has extended the pre-trial detention of Amir Pašić Faćo by another two months, the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton confirmed.
The extension of detention was proposed due to the risk that he might re-offend if released, as well as the risk of him absconding.
The investigation against Pašić has been expanded due to other reports. Pašić himself addressed the court, stating that he was reported by journalist Mirza Vranj, whose husband Sulejman Jasika was sentenced to three years in prison for attempting to murder Pašić.
A report against Pašić was also filed by the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs, Ramo Isak.
