(Patria) - The United States has intercepted another vessel in international waters near the coast of Venezuela, marking the second such operation this weekend.
This information was confirmed today by two U.S. officials, Reuters reports.
This move comes just days after U.S. President Donald Trump announced enhanced measures, which he described as a "total blockade," against all sanctioned oil tankers sailing to or from Venezuela.
Officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, did not disclose the exact vessel or the precise location where the interception occurred.
