Americans issue warning for all of Europe: Be cautious, terrorists planning more attacks

The US State Department issued, several hours after the terrorist attacks in Brussels, a notice with warnings for all American citizens who plan to be anywhere on the European continent until June 20, reports the Patria news agency.

The notice states that terrorist groups continue to plan attacks in the near future across Europe, targeting sporting events, tourist locations, restaurants, and transportation.

It does not specify which specific locations or countries are involved, nor how imminent a possible attack or multiple attacks might be.

In the State Department, American citizens are advised to be vigilant while in public places or when using public transport.

-Be aware of your immediate surroundings and avoid crowds. Be especially vigilant during religious holidays or at large concerts and other events, the notice states, noting that Americans are working closely with European partners to identify and act against terrorist threats.
