(Patria) - Yemeni Houthis launched an anti-ship ballistic missile on Friday in retaliation for American and British attacks, said a US general, AFP reported.
"We know they fired at least one missile in retaliation," Joint Staff Director Lt. Gen. Douglas Sims told reporters, adding that no ships were hit.
The United States and Britain targeted nearly 30 locations using more than 150 missiles, Sims said, updating earlier figures.
The Houthis have carried out a larger attack on a key international maritime route through the Red Sea since the war in Gaza broke out, in support of Palestinians.
