US Military Destroys Speedboat Near Venezuela, Four Narco-Terrorists Killed

(Patria) - The US military carried out a deadly drone strike on a speedboat it claims was involved in drug smuggling in international waters off the coast of Venezuela.

Four men, described by Washington as "narco-terrorists," were killed in the attack, according to US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

He stated that the operation was carried out on the orders of US President Donald Trump.

"Our intelligence unequivocally confirmed the vessel was carrying narcotics, the individuals aboard were narco-terrorists, and they were transiting a known smuggling route," Hegseth wrote on X, adding that such strikes will continue until the threat to American lives is eliminated.

The footage shows a drone flying over the speedboat just before it is hit by a precision-guided missile.

This strike is the latest in a series of intensified actions against drug smuggling since Trump declared international cartels foreign terrorist organizations in September 2025.

According to the Pentagon, at least three similar attacks have been carried out in the Caribbean since then, resulting in the sinking of several vessels and the deaths of between 17 and 20 people.

Many social media users praised the strike as a "decisive measure to protect American borders and combat drugs."

However, Venezuelan officials and some international analysts have questioned the evidence linking these vessels to smuggling routes, noting that it further escalates tensions between Washington and Caracas.
