US Police: Don't Call 911, We Can't Bring You Toilet Paper, Manage on Your Own

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Police of the American city of Newport appealed to citizens not to call 911, the unified number for police, fire department and emergency medical services, due to a shortage of toilet paper at a time when America, like the rest of the world, is facing the coronavirus pandemic.

“It's hard to believe we are forced to post something like this. Don't call 911 just because your toilet paper roll has run out. You will manage to get by without our help,” the statement on the police website says, as reported by CdM.

Citizens are advised to be resourceful and patient.

“There is a shortage of toilet paper. And it will pass, but don't call 911, we can't bring you toilet paper,” the statement says.
