Ambassador Reilly Condemns Attack on Nataša Todorović in Goražde: Everyone Must Be Safe

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - I am appalled by reports of the attack on Nataša Todorović, a candidate from Goražde, said today the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Julian Reilly.

"Violence against women has no place in Bosnian society. Everyone should feel safe, in their personal and public capacity. Political parties and responsible institutions must investigate the case and prevent the practice of impunity", said the UK Ambassador to BiH.

We recall, the candidate of the party BH Demokrati for the Assembly of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde, Nataša Todorović, was physically attacked yesterday before noon in the Lozje neighborhood in Goražde. The perpetrator of the attack is Dragan Milović, the husband of Daliborka Milović, a delegate in the Assembly of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton and the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH.

Following the attack, numerous calls were made for this case to be fully investigated and the perpetrator brought to justice.
