BRUSSELS, (Patria) - Eric Nelson, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Bosnia and Herzegovina, was in Brussels today, where he visited NATO Headquarters.
The US Embassy's Instagram profile announced that he held important talks about Bosnia and Herzegovina's strong partnership with this organization.
NATO has requested the first Annual National Program (ANP) from BiH, regarding which there is no agreement among all political actors. The issue of the NATO path is also raised as a condition for forming the government, while Milorad Dodik, president of SNSD and member of the BiH Presidency, demands that BiH abandon NATO membership.
The other member of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić, who takes over the presidency in July, today invited Dodik to openly state what bothers him about the Annual National Program, which has already been prepared but has not been sent to Brussels. Komšić also stated that he will not be the candidate for the BiH Council of Ministers, proposed by SNSD, until the ANP is sent to Brussels.
