US Embassy: Police and prosecutors are responsible to act professionally, without political influence

(Patria) - The US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina has commented on its Twitter profile regarding the work of judicial institutions in our country, as well as political influences.

The message of the Embassy of the United States of America came after the events of the past few days when the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, was arrested and numerous political reactions followed.

"The fight against corruption is of vital importance for the citizens and the future of BiH. Police and prosecutors are responsible to act professionally, without political influence, in accordance with the law in order to investigate allegations of corruption. At the same time, threats and influence on the police and prosecutors are unacceptable," the US Embassy stated.
