US Embassy: We condemn the attack on Vučić, but the focus should be on the victims of genocide

The US Embassy in a press release condemned the incident that occurred today in Potočari when Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić was attacked, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- As former President Bill Clinton said in his address on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, it took courage for Prime Minister Vučić to attend the commemoration. The US Embassy in Sarajevo condemns the attack that followed on Prime Minister Vučić. Many mourners were appalled by the violence and disappointed that the dignified observance of the commemoration was disrupted. The US Embassy in Sarajevo shares this view and once again calls for the focus to be on the victims of the Srebrenica genocide and their families.
