The United States Embassy in BiH condemns the brutal attack on university professor and journalist Slavo Kukić that took place in Mostar yesterday, reports the Patria News Agency.
- We call on local authorities to investigate this crime and bring the perpetrators to justice as soon as possible. Violence, motivated by political or any other reasons, has no place in a modern democratic society - said the US Embassy in Sarajevo.
Professor Slavo Kukić was brutally beaten in his office at the Faculty of Economics in Mostar. Kukić said that the attack most likely followed his statements regarding Dario Kordić, which he gave to FTV.
