SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Embassy of the State of Palestine in Bosnia and Herzegovina sends sincere greetings to all media outlets in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and once again wishes to confirm that it hopes all relevant official security bodies, as well as all media, will determine the citizenship of each refugee before publication so as not to damage the reputation of Palestinians.
In this regard, the Embassy emphasizes that the migrant who was detained in Banja Luka and who attempted to attack a policewoman there is not a Palestinian, which was confirmed after the Embassy contacted the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka. The Embassy received a written letter from the Ministry regarding this, which contains an apology from the Ministry.
The Embassy wishes to reiterate that there are no Palestinian refugees in Bosnia and Herzegovina and expresses its readiness to cooperate with all authorities on this matter.
