FIPA Officials' Carelessness: Does the Employer Cry or Pay Contributions!?

Often on the official websites of BiH institutions we can find errors, because officials either do not diligently approach their work or are simply illiterate, writes Patria.

The latest such example comes from the Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Investments in BiH (FIPA), because in the section where instructions are given to investors there are many errors.

Namely, in the section „contributions“ it says „social insurance contributions paid by the employer and employee“. Can you imagine a foreigner learning the Bosnian language and knowing what the word „cry“ means, so it can easily be concluded that the employer might cry, rather than pay contributions.

Furthermore, there it says „In the Republika Srpska, as well as in the Federation of BiH, contributions are calculated based on gross salary. Gross salary includes the net salary of the employee, multiplied by the established coefficient, plus contributions from the salary“.

How a foreign investor will understand the word „employee“ (misspelled) is unknown, but such errors are unacceptable, especially on the official website of FIPA.
