Ali Khamenei warned America: We will not surrender, any intervention will be followed by irreparable damage

(Patria) - Iran "will firmly stand against an imposed war, just as it will firmly stand against an imposed peace", said the Supreme Leader of the country, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a televised address carried by the Tasnim news agency.

"This nation, faced with imposition, will not surrender to anyone."

The Iranian leader also highlighted the statements of US President Donald Trump, saying that "intelligent people who know Iran, the Iranian nation, and its history will never speak to this nation in a threatening tone because the Iranian nation will not surrender".

"And the Americans should know that any American military intervention will undoubtedly be accompanied by irreparable damage."
