(Patria) - Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (Khamenei) spoke out after Israel attacked Iran early this morning, targeting nuclear facilities, announcing revenge.
"High-ranking Iranian military officials and scientists were killed in attacks that also targeted nuclear and military facilities. Israel has opened its evil and blood-stained hand for crime in our beloved country, revealing its malicious nature more than ever by attacking residential centers," Khamenei said.
Among the Iranian officials is the spokesperson for the Iranian army, Abolfazl Shekarchi. He stated that the US and Israel will pay a high price after the attacks on Iranian nuclear and other military targets.
Khamenei adds that Israel will face severe punishment.
"With this crime, the Zionist regime has imposed a bitter and painful destiny upon itself and will surely experience it," he clearly stated.
