Aleksandar Vučić speaks about the second row in Moscow

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić commented on a photo from Moscow circulating on social media, showing him sitting in the second row, stating that it is a photo from a concert and that they were seated in alphabetical order.

"Rejected? Here you see how rejected I am. Today, President Putin had two bilateral meetings – one with Lula da Silva, the president of Brazil, a country with 200 million inhabitants, and one with Egypt, a country with 110 million, and with the powerful and strong Serbia with 6.5 million inhabitants. That’s how rejected we are. Xi Jinping had several bilateral meetings, and as far as I could see, it seemed to me that he spent the most time with us.

I did not want to bother the Chinese president, but he stopped me himself and asked me to walk with him to the stage, to the Monument to the Unknown Soldier and the Hero Cities of the Soviet era,“ Vučić told reporters during his address from Moscow.

He then stated that they were seated in alphabetical order at the mentioned concert, which is why he was between Palestine and Slovakia.

"You have President Xi, who always sits next to Putin, which is normal and usual. At the concert, the countries of the former USSR are around them, and the rest of us are arranged in alphabetical order, which is why I am always between Palestine and Slovakia. That's why I sat next to the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, in that location, that's why I was next to Fico at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, because Serbia and Slovakia are next to each other,“ said the Serbian president.

He also stated that he "does not remember Serbia being so respected“ and that it has "received such hospitality“.

"Thank you to President Putin, as well as President Xi,“ Vučić stated.

Otherwise, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping yesterday, while on May 7th, he held meetings with the presidents of Venezuela, Congo, Mongolia, and Cuba.
