(Patria) - The Police Administration of the MUP KS announced the cause of the fire in the garage in Dobrinja, in which six cars burned and were damaged.
"On 05.09.2022 at 03:55, the Novi Grad Police Department was informed that a fire had occurred in a multi-story garage facility in Trg Grada Prato street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality. The fire was extinguished by members of the Sarajevo Canton Firefighting Brigade. No one was injured, while two motor vehicles were completely destroyed and four were damaged due to the flames.
An investigation was conducted by the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, police officers of the Police Administration of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton, and an authorized court expert in fire protection. According to the court expert's statement, the fire was caused by a short circuit in the newly installed electrical installation of the alarm system on an "Audi A6" motor vehicle. Police officers continue to work on documenting the mentioned event," the MUP KS announced.
