Al Jazeera journalist Samer Abudaqa killed in Israeli attack

(Patria) - Al Jazeera journalist Samer Abudaqa was killed in an Israeli attack in Khan Younis. Israeli forces prevented medical teams from reaching him immediately.
Tributes are pouring in for Abudaqa, a father of four children who will be remembered as a kind and diligent colleague and friend.

At least 12 people were killed in attacks on a United Nations school in Khan Younis and houses in the southern part of Gaza. Due to Israeli attacks, telecommunication services in Gaza have been interrupted again. The government media office in Gaza says the communication blackout is hindering rescue efforts.

Israel has completed its 60-hour raid in Jenin, killing 11 Palestinians, and forces have continued night raids in the occupied West Bank. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant told Jake Sullivan that the Israeli army needs ‘more than a few months’ to defeat Hamas, adding that ‘the war will take time’.

At least 18,787 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7. The revised death toll in Israel is 1,147.
