If a referendum on the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH is allowed, the secession of RS from BiH will follow

If the referendum on the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH is actually held in the BiH entity of Republika Srpska, a referendum on the secession of RS from BiH will follow afterwards, it was warned today at the Association of Independent Intellectuals „Krug 99“ in Sarajevo, writes the news agency Patria. 

The President of the Association, Adil Kulenović, said that calling a referendum is unconstitutional and illegal, and that the Office of the High Representative in BiH (OHR) must react to the announcements of the referendum, which could lead to conflicts that could end in the most catastrophic way.

While the President of RS, Milorad Dodik, has been announcing a referendum on the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH for months, promising to transfer the judiciary and prosecution to the entity's jurisdiction, the opposition claims that the whole story was initiated with the aim of diverting attention from the difficult economic situation in RS, for which Dodik and his SNSD are responsible, writes NAP.
