Uprava policije MUP KS Operation: Three arrested for drug trafficking, weapons also found

(Patria) - Police officers of the MUP KS Police Administration, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of KS, carried out an operation codenamed "Fair Play" with the aim of documenting criminal offenses of unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs.

During searches carried out in the area of the municipality of Novi Grad, several different packages containing a substance that, by its appearance, resembles the narcotic drug speed, with a total mass of over approx. 2,000 grams, were found and seized; more than 100 tablets with an appearance characteristic of the narcotic drug ecstasy; several packages containing a substance that, by its appearance, resembles the narcotic drug marijuana, with a total mass of approx. 1,000 grams, one automatic rifle, one hand grenade, one pistol, more than 400 rounds of ammunition, two digital scales, a grinder, and other items of interest to the investigation.

A man S.K. (1983) from Sarajevo was deprived of liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs (Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Illegal Possession of Weapons and Explosive Materials (Article 371, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), and the criminal offense from Article 74 of the Law on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of Sarajevo Canton.

Due to suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Possession and Enabling the Use of Narcotic Drugs (Article 239, Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), S.A., born in 1982 in Sarajevo, and Z.A., born in 1983 in Sarajevo, were deprived of liberty.

Criminal processing is being carried out on the arrested individuals in the official premises of the MUP KS Police Administration.
