Operation in Trn: High-ranking MUP RS inspector among those arrested

(Patria) - In a police operation in Banja Luka aimed at preventing organized crime, several persons were arrested, and a catering facility in Trn Jezero is under police siege.

A criminal investigation of the detained individuals is underway.

Unofficially, among those arrested is high-ranking police official Nedjeljko Lubura, currently employed in the Integrity Protection Service, and formerly head of the Anti-Terrorism Directorate, who is in close family relations with the Minister of Interior of Republika Srpska, Dragan Lukač.

Among those arrested, according to unconfirmed information, is also Bojan Roguljić, the son of the owner of "Jezero", the controversial Banja Luka businessman Slavko Roguljić.

According to information from the investigation, the group brought in today is suspected of criminal acts of organized crime, aiding the perpetrator after the commission of a criminal offense, and abuse of official position or authority.

All activities are being carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from which there are still no official reactions regarding which specific offense the arrests are related to.
