Operation in Sarajevo: Several people detained at the MUP KS Police Directorate, targeting Abdulah Skaka

(Patria) - Police officers from the Criminal Police Sector and the Police Support Sector of the MUP KS Police Directorate, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, are carrying out the operational-tactical operation "Vizionar".

Searches are underway at several locations in the Sarajevo Canton area, and several individuals have been detained at the official premises of the MUP KS Police Directorate.

The operation is being conducted due to suspicion of committing several criminal offenses, including: abuse of position, dereliction of duty, forgery of an official document, and giving gifts and other benefits.

According to Istraga.ba, the police are searching the house of Abdulah Skaka, former mayor of Sarajevo and ambassador to Qatar.
