Traffic operation with a special focus on driver intoxication

In order to reduce the number of traffic accidents with severe consequences and create a high degree of traffic safety on all roads in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton will, in the period from 11.12.2015 (Friday), from 8:00 PM, to 13.12.2015 (Sunday), until 12:00 AM, conduct an operation of intensified control of traffic participants, with a special focus on controlling driver intoxication, reports the Patria News Agency.

The activities of police officers in the indicated operation will be directed towards taking repressive measures against drivers found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, and other traffic participants will also be sanctioned in cases of violation of the provisions of the Law on Road Traffic Safety Fundamentals in BiH.

The Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton warns drivers to adhere to legal provisions regarding the conditions under which they can drive a vehicle, and to comply with all traffic regulations, in order to protect themselves, the persons they transport, and other traffic participants.
