SARAJEVO, (Patria) – In an operational action carried out on March 22 by officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in the Canton Sarajevo area, two people were arrested, and 3 kg of a white powdery substance resembling the narcotic drug amphetamine was seized, confirmed Luka Miladinović, SIPA spokesperson, for the Patria News Agency.
“A search of one residential building and three vehicles was conducted, during which one automatic rifle and a certain amount of ammunition were found. After the criminal processing, the individuals will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office,” Miladinović said.
The operation was carried out by order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo. The arrested individuals are suspected of the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of FBiH.
