
(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency today, as part of the operational actions "Alterego I and II", in the areas of Tuzla, Kalesija, Bijeljina, Zvornik, Srebrenica and Bratunac have begun searching residential buildings and movable property at multiple locations.
The mentioned activities are being carried out due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that criminal offenses of "Organized Crime", "Forgery of Documents", "Certification of Untrue Content", "Illegal Storage of Goods" and "Smuggling" prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as criminal offenses of "Association for the Purpose of Committing Criminal Offenses", "Falsification of Documents", "Issuance and Use of Untrue Medical or Veterinary Certificates", "Giving Bribes", "Receiving Bribes", "Abuse of Official Position or Authority" and "Trading in Influence" prescribed by the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska have been committed.
The searches are being conducted under the orders of the Cantonal Court in Tuzla and the District Court in Banja Luka, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton and the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office of Republika Srpska, and in cooperation with the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and Tuzla Canton.
Considering that the operational actions "Alterego I and II" are ongoing, the public will be informed about the final outcome later.
