
(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, in the operational action "Šetač" on Thursday, in the areas of Sarajevo, East Sarajevo, and Kiseljak, during searches of residential premises and movable property at 14 locations, discovered and temporarily seized approximately two kilograms of speed drug, one kilogram of marijuana, 120 grams of cocaine, two automatic rifles, 76 rounds of ammunition for an automatic rifle of 7.62 mm caliber, one passenger motor vehicle, one precision scale, approximately 5,000.00 BAM, one video surveillance recorder, forged documents, mobile phones, as well as other items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.
Ten people were deprived of their liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed criminal offenses of "Organized Crime", "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs", and "Unauthorized Possession of Weapons or Explosive Materials" prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The persons deprived of their liberty will, after criminal processing and questioning as suspects, be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Travnik.
The aforementioned activities were carried out by order of the Cantonal Court of Novi Travnik and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Travnik, in cooperation with police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Sarajevo Canton, and Central Bosnia Canton.
