Operation 'Royal Flush': Over five kilograms of drugs seized, two persons deprived of liberty

(Patria) - Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operation code-named "Royal Flush" in which two men from Sarajevo, M.I. and A.V., were deprived of liberty, suspected of committing the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Placing on the Market of Narcotic Drugs.

During searches conducted in the area of Centar, 11 different packages containing a substance that by its appearance resembles the narcotic drug speed, with a total weight of approximately 2,000 grams, were found and seized; eight different packages with a total weight of more than 2,000 grams, i.e., more than 3,500 tablets with an appearance characteristic of the narcotic drug ecstasy; nine PVC packages containing a substance that by its appearance resembles the narcotic drug marijuana, with a total weight of more than 1,300 grams, four digital scales, a vacuum sealing device, and other items of interest for the investigation were also found and seized.

The arrested individuals are undergoing criminal processing in the official premises of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton, after which they will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton.
