(Patria) - Police officers from the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse and the Novi Grad Police Department, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operational action codenamed "Birthday".
During searches of a business premises and accompanying facilities in the Novi Grad area, several packages containing substances suspected to be the narcotic drugs marihuana and heroin, with a total weight of over 330 grams, over 17 kilograms of a substance used to increase the mass of narcotic drugs, two digital scales, an automatic rifle with a magazine, a certain amount of ammunition of various calibers, and numerous other items of interest to the investigation were found.
H.G. (1991) from Sarajevo was deprived of his liberty on grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and Illegal Possession of Weapons or Explosive Materials.
The suspect is undergoing criminal processing at the official premises of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
