(Patria) - In the framework of operation "Rača" in the area of the Zvornik Police Administration, two citizens of Serbia with initials Ž.S. and B.Ј. were arrested, and half a kilogram of cocaine was found and seized from them.
Criminal processing of the detained persons is underway, it was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
The person Ž.S. will be brought to the BiH Prosecutor's Office during the day.
"Police officers of the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and the Zvornik Police Administration are carrying out the operational action `Rača`, within which they arrested two persons in the area of the Zvornik Police Administration – Ž.S. and B.Ј., citizens of Serbia, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs", it is stated in the announcement.
The announcement highlighted that last night, during the arrest, 524 grams of a powdery substance were found and seized from the persons, which, by its appearance and characteristics, is associated with the narcotic drug cocaine.
