SARAJEVO, (Patria) - State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) officers on Friday evening, in cooperation with police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the BiH Border Police, and the BiH Intelligence-Security Agency, arrested two individuals in the area of Bileća.
These individuals are suspected of committing the criminal offense of 'Organized Crime' under Article 250 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in connection with the criminal offense of 'Unauthorized Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs' under Article 195 of the same law.
During the implementation of the aforementioned activities, SIPA police officers forcibly stopped and searched a vehicle and the said individuals, during which they discovered and temporarily seized approximately 600 grams of an unknown substance that, by its appearance and structure, resembles the narcotic drug cocaine.
The aforementioned activities were carried out under the orders of the BiH Prosecutor's Office and the BiH Court.
"The suspects have been brought to SIPA premises and are undergoing criminal processing, after which they will be handed over to the BiH Prosecutor's Office for further jurisdiction within the legal deadline," stated the press release from the SIPA Information Office.
According to unofficial information, these are two members of the Kavač clan from Montenegro.
