Operation 'Pero': Prime Minister's Advisor in Una-Sana Canton Given Restraining Orders

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Cantonal Court in Bihać, at the proposal of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Una-Sana Canton, today issued a decision imposing all proposed restraining orders on the suspect T. M.

The Prosecutor's Office proposed, and the Cantonal Court imposed on the suspect, a ban on performing the function of advisor to the Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton, a ban on visiting the premises of legal entities - Vite plus Cazin and the International College of Cazin, as well as the premises of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Una-Sana Canton, and a ban on meeting with suspect Hadžipašić Admir and other persons who are witnesses in this case, i.e., a ban on approaching these persons within a distance of less than 50 meters.

We remind you that on Monday, June 15, as part of the continuation of Operation "Pero", the advisor to the Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton, initials T. M., was arrested.

Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), in coordination with the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Una-Sana Canton and by order of the Cantonal Court in Bihać, searched the advisor's office in the building of the Government of Una-Sana Canton and seized items that could serve as evidence in the criminal proceedings.

The suspect T. M. is accused of having, in May of this year, using his official position and influence, mediated and incited the Minister of Education in the Government of USC to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against Hadžipašić Admir and the Center for Adult Education Vita plus Cazin due to previous illegal work. In this way, he attempted to jeopardize the criminal proceedings against the suspects in the "Pero" case, which is being conducted for organized crime in connection with other criminal offenses. The Minister refused to do so and informed the Prosecutor's Office of everything.
