Operation "Papirus": SIPA searches 11 facilities due to crime

Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) began today (03.10.2016) an operation codenamed “Papirus“, which is being carried out in a wider area of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Activities are being carried out by order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo and the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo, SIPA police officers are carrying out one of the most complex operations in the fight against organized crime in our country.

Searches of facilities are being conducted at a total of 11 locations, and the apprehension of a larger number of individuals is expected, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of “Organized Crime“ from Article 342 of the Criminal Code of FBiH in connection with the criminal offenses of “Forgery of Documents“ from Article 373 of the Criminal Code of FBiH and “Certification of Untrue Content“ from Article 375 of the Criminal Code of FBiH.
