Operation "Orka": Explosives, ammunition, police uniform, money found

(Patria) - In the operational action "Orka" carried out today by the FUP with the assistance of the MUP RS and cantonal MUPs, 13 persons were deprived of liberty, while one is serving a sentence in Croatia. The arrested individuals are R.B. (1987), M.B. (1991), A.B. (1984), J.M. (1983), S.Ć. (1978), Z.M. (1972), F.P. (1986), M.P. (1981), S.H. (1991), M.O. (1984), Z.H. (1990), R.G. (1980), and N.B. (1992), while Z.G. (1969) is in Croatia.

During searches at multiple locations, items originating from or related to the criminal offenses of robbery, aggravated theft, and unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, which were sought by court order, have been found and temporarily confiscated so far. The found items will be used as evidence in criminal proceedings and include a larger quantity of explosives, weapons, ammunition, money, a police uniform, suitable tools used for committing criminal offenses, and other items.

The persons deprived of liberty will be processed criminally in the official premises of the Federal Police Administration in Mostar and Sarajevo, and within the legal deadline, they will be handed over with a report on the committed criminal offense to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

These are individuals who are known to the police and judicial authorities for multiple returns to committing these and other criminal offenses, which is why some are still serving prison sentences, and the mentioned criminal offenses were committed during out-of-institution benefits.
