MUP KS Action: Drugs, Weapons and 58,000 KM Found

Members of the MUP KS carried out the Jazavac action on July 18, in which a larger amount of money, narcotics and weapons were found, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria. 

The action was carried out under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with partner police agencies. In Kurt Šorak Street, Ilidža municipality, a personal search was conducted of R.S., born in 1977 in Sarajevo, residing in East Sarajevo, as well as a search of the apartment he uses in Adem Buća Street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality. On that occasion, money, drugs, and weapons were found on R.S.

A larger sum of money in various currencies was found, about 300 grams of a substance resembling the narcotic drug heroin, about 40 grams of a substance resembling the narcotic drug cocaine, one pistol of the brand “CZ”, cal. 9 mm with a frame, 27 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 2 hand grenades, personal documents in another person's name, a digital scale, and equipment for repackaging narcotic drugs. As announced by the MUP KS, 58,000 KM was found.

Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, illegal possession of weapons or explosive materials, forgery of documents, and Article 52 of the ZONDINOIM, R.S. was deprived of liberty and handed over to the Department for Detention of Persons Deprived of Liberty of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton. Today, R.S. will be handed over to the competent Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo, along with a report on the committed criminal offenses.

We remind you that the MUP KS also carried out the action "Robi" on July 13, which resulted in the arrest of three persons, while one is on the run. Several types of drugs and bullets were found.
